For those of you who know me well, you know I hate some very odd things. And those of you who don't know me well you will soon find that I hate some very odd things.
1. I hate magic (with the exception of Harry Potter). I know this is weird and very contradictory given that Harry is a wizard, but it's a recent obsession and I just can't help it, I love those movies. But I truly do hate magic, I hate people who do magic. I once had a guy come up to me and try a magic trick as a conversation starter, I promptly launched in to him about how I hate magic, he tried to argue but I won. Just the mention of David Blaine makes my skin crawl.
2. I hate other people's children. This has also changed a slight bit with my nephew Jackson who is the love of my life. But other people's children, I can't stand them, I think they're hyenas and I tend to say this out loud in public. I was at Ikea one day, all by my lonesome looking to buy a new bed, when out of nowhere this child runs a cart into a table display and knocks all of them down. Parents nowhere to be found. I found myself asking the child "who do you belong to?!" but to no avail, they just kept on their path of destruction. This is why I hate other people's children.
3. I hate people who walk into the exit doors, especially at my work. I see this on a daily basis and it never ceases to amaze me the people who will sprint to get through a closing automatic exit door but don't want to take the three steps to the left and go through the actual entrance. I personally find it hilarious to watch people who are all worked up storm out of the entrance door and just cause themselves more trouble.
4. I hate bridges. Mostly because I always envision myself falling off of them. I think this is fair enough.
5. I hate being sick. Which is what I am right now. And it stinks. This one takes the cake in my book because all I can do is fester and drink orange juice and wait to get better. And I don't have cable, poor choice on my part to save a few bucks- now I'm paying the price for that one.
So as I rest and try to get better I hope you all have a great weekend and don't encounter any of the things you hate.

Two Posts- One Night
I can't believe I live here!
Does anybody else remember the Friends episode where Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Chandler and Joey and in total sadness and completely disgust they yell out, "I can't believe we live here"...That's how I feel about West Seattle. Before I moved here I didn't really understand it, it's Seattle but you have to cross a bridge-it doesn't make sense. Frankly I still don't understand it, it's a whole little world of weird that I thought I could buy into. Anyway, having the day off today always makes me miss the Queen Anne/Ballard/Fremont area and then I remember that I have to go home to...dun,dun,dun...West Seattle. I miss being able to walk to great restaurants, or awesome bars, and being able to park my car at Starbucks and not wonder who might be breaking into it. Lesson learned, take time finding my next apartment. But on the upside of things, there is a Pho Tan Brothers about two minutes from my house. And currently that is what is sitting in front of me while I type this, so I guess things could be worse. Now I just need to make sure my renters insurance covers everything in my apartment.

I'm a blogger!
I finally gave in and started a blog because quite honestly I think I'm as hilarious as Chelsea Handler and so I thought I should share that with the world, and Twitter scares me. Mostly because I don't know how to use it, but also because it makes me feel like I'm running for high school homecoming queen, which i never won, by having followers. And let's face it 140 characters might be good enough for Britney Spears or Lady Gaga but I have far too much genius to cram into such a small space, so here it is. My attempt at sharing my randomness with the world. Enjoy!
