My #1 love, the product I continue to buy over and over again hands down is Philosophy's Hope in a Jar. I'm obsessed with this moisturizer and have tried millions others but this one always works. It is light enough to where you don't feel like you have a thick layer on your face but hydrating enough to get you through winter. Also a pretty reasonable price as far as face products go.
I've recently become obsessed with the Skyn Iceland brand, I discovered this through a magazine dog-ear page and I think the biggest reason I like them is that their face wash, Glacial Face Wash, comes with packaging that talks about long nights, no sleep, too many drinks and a smoky bar. I like that in a face wash. Skyn's tagline is products for stressed skin, and I think anyone of us can say that at some point in our week we have stressed skin. Their other product I am in love with is the Icelandic Relief Eye Pen, after a long night this is key to not looking like you had a long night- a life saver for anyone.
I happen to be one of those weird people who spends a lot of money on products, and I don't believe that everyone else has to be this way but if you are going to splurge, there is one thing to splurge on. That would be Kiehl's Creme de Corps body moisturizer. By far the best moisturizer I have ever used in my life and worth every single penny. I have tried to use drug store lotion, the Vaseline, Neutrogena, Nivea, etc. but every time even the ones that claim they are hydrating leave my legs looking like alligators. I discovered Kiehl's in college when a roommate used it and swore by it and I didn't believe, I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on lotion. But then I gave in, and I haven't looked back since. And for those of you who are interested, Kiehl's usually goes on sale during Nordstrom's Half Yearly which just so happens to start on May 25th. Aren't I good?
